Current Simoco programming software v 5.59

The latest version, 5.59, of the programming software for Simoco radios is now available from their website at http://www.tmcradio.com and should immediately be used in place of the last version 5.58 which had a small bug affecting text messaging in SRP portable radios. This was reported to TMC last week and has now been fixed. Anyone with SRP9170 or SRP9120 portables will not see the issue as they have no keypads and so can't send text messages. It only affected the full keypad models. The problem didn't affect SRM vehicle/base radios.

The current version of the software includes changes to the way the lead in delays are calculated when sending data messages, GPS, text or otherwise, if we are asked for any advice on lead in delay times etc when using these radios with repeaters and rebroadcast then we will be assuming that the new firmware has been installed on your radios unless you tell us otherwise. It now directly affects some of the values used and information on this is available elsewhere on this website.
