This is the version that will be on the laptops being supplied by Mark and the Comms Sub Committee. There are a number of changes and additions as listed below. This is necessarily brief in this posting but there will be a short-form manual supplement out shortly to explain in greater detail what everything does.
The alterations and amendments are:-
1) Corrected default StopPollingAfter Inactivity to 30 minutes. The ini file said it was 30, but it was in fact 10.
2) Prevent a system lockup that could last about 30 seconds sometimes after doing a catchup.
3) Now supports PDA generated GPS
4) Improved graphics in assets panel. MRMap will now graphically differentiate between position reports from both radios and mobile phones using Steve Fletchers mobile phone tracking app.
5) Replay mode will now cancel after a preset time to prevent MRMap not polling because someone has left it in replay mode. Doing this causes polling to stop by which time everyone has gone home and nothing works any more.
6) Callsigns that are in brackets are ones where no information has been found in the ini file so the number used is used. This number is from the list of 127 callsigns allocated to that team and just represents the radio's position in that list of 1 to 127.
7) Printing of merged maps now works correctly.
8) Fixed the print margins so that trails or drawing lines don't go off the map.
9) Possibly fixed the problem where printing a fully zoomed out image on a very large screen would fail. Dave doesn't have a large screen so he can't test this if anyone out there wants to take this up and let us know.
10) Catch-up code changes so that it should be able to handle much slower connections without getting the status bar message "Remote Not Connected". Catch up can now be by the hour or by the day.
11) Fixed problem with adding maps on a one by one basis.
12) Added short cut keys onto menu so you can see what they are.
13) Zoom range much extended, but it's now different for different map tile sets.
14) Added another map tile set (Overview - 1:250,000 scale road maps basically) and extended the zoom out range so that the whole country can be seen for some map tile sets. Because of the zoom extension, when running the new program, will need to process all the maps again so you need to leave your computer on for 24 hours once again, sorry about that. The 1:250,000 scale map tiles for the entire UK can be downloaded free from OS - you just need the tiff files from.

15) Default team radios are now listed first in the assets panel. Change the DefaultTeam value in the ini file and your own team will always appear at the top of the asset panel list.
16) More control over how the assets panel is ordered. The DefaultTeam comes first. Then you have the option of setting the order of each radio in the team by using a '%Order=' directive in the ini file. See latest ini file for instructions. This new command can be added to existing snail-trail colour instructions on the same line as in 12345=Fred%colour=255,0,0%Order=1
This colours Fred's snail trail red and puts him at the top of the list whenever he's received by base.
